While we are all human, Black male students have been traditionally mis-understood, mis-diagnosed and underserved in our schools. This course shares eye-opening perspectives to clarify the misconceptions and provides simple and practical strategies for educators to meet the whole needs of EVERY CHILD.
Section 1- (offered free for a limited time) shares 7 common mistakes that schools make in working with Black male students.
Section 2- provides specific, evidenced-based strategies for providing equitable support for Black male students and their social-emotional needs. This will help educators: build better relationships, provide more relevant instruction and therefore, re-engage Black males online, offline or anywhere else!
